| dc.description | The concern of linguists in recent decades with the phenomena of language analysis beyond the sentence and the growing interest in performance and the need to understand and explain the language in action, that is, in interaction, required overcoming the abstract consideration of language as an internalized knowledge of a hypothetical ideal speaker-listener to move on to the dimension that discourse is a social and cultural phenomenon (Van Dijk 1997:2) so that its analysis could be considered an inter-discipline in which the analysis of language joins and merges with other areas of social sciences both in theory and in its analysis. The term discourse analysis is ambiguous due, on the one hand, to the methodological approaches with which it has been approached and, on the other, to the broad field it covers, being studied in areas as diverse as sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and the philosophy of language. , philosophical linguistics (speech acts), and, currently, computational linguistics. | dc.description | La preocupación de los lingüistas en las últimas décadas por los fenómenos del análisis de la lengua más allá de la oración y el creciente interés por la actuación y la necesidad de comprender y explicar la lengua en acción, esto es, en interacción, requería superar la consideración abstracta del lenguaje como un saber internalizado de un hipotético hablante oyente ideal para pasar a la dimensión de que el discurso es un fenómeno social y cultural (Van Dijk 1997:2), de modo que su análisis podría considerarse una interdisciplina en que el análisis de la lengua se une y se funde con otras áreas de las ciencias sociales tanto en la teoría como en su análisis. El término análisis del discurso es ambiguo debido, por un lado, a los enfoques metodológicos con que ha sido abordado y, por otro, al amplio campo que cubre, siendo estudiado en áreas tan diversas como la sociolingüística, la psicolingüística, la filosofía del lenguaje, la lingüística filosófica ( los actos de habla) y, actualmente, la lingüística computacional. Para algunos, discurso tiene que ver con el lenguaje oral y usan el término texto para referirse a lo escrito. | es-ES |
