| dc.description | Electra and her brother Orestes kill their mother Clytemnestra Did average the death of their father Agamemnon. Thus the order of the city is re-established and Orestes returns to reign in his father's place. Elektra, however, is condemned to Madness and roaming the streets of the city. in her poem, “ Electra en la niebla”, Gabriela Mister tries to understand the world of the mythical character. This study attempts to make a connection between traditional reading of Sophoclean tragedy and the new interpretation given by the lyric voice in the poem, which uses Electra to expose the space limitation imposed on women. It also systematically deconstructs the varied interpretations of the character of Electra, comparing them to the way in which Gabriela Mistral re-construct her Electra. | en-US |
| dc.description | Electra y su hermano Orestes, hijos Clitemnestra y Agamenón, buscan vengar el asesinato del padre matando a la madre.Con la muwerte de la madre se establece, nuevamente, el orden en la ciudad, pues Orestes regresa a reinar en lugar del padre. Electra, por el contrario, es condenada a la locura y a vagar por las calles. Gabriela Mistral, en su poema “Electra en la niebla”, busca entender el mundo del personaje mítico, En este estudio se intenta establecer una conexión entre las lecturas de la tragedia de Sófocles y la nueva interpretación dada por el hablante lírico del poema. Se muestra cómo este se apropia del yo de Electra para exponer el espacio de liminalidad en que las mujeres se ven insertas. Hay en este estudio una constante desconstrucción de las variadas interpretaciones que del personaje Electra se han hecho, y se muestra en paralelo el modo en que Gabriela Mistral re-construye su Electra. | es-ES |
