| dc.description | This conversation with the Peruvian writer took place in December 1997 in Berlin. At first, I did not think about publishing it; I only used it in lectures or discussions with friends. When I presented it in a literature class at the University of Los Lagos in Osorno, Chile (2001), a colleague suggested that I publish it because, he found it very interesting to get to know the great novelist better. His arguments convinced me, so I started transcribing this dialogue, occasionally changing a minor detail to facilitate a better reading of the spontaneous and informal conversation at Vargas Llosa’s Berlin home. | en-US |
| dc.description | Esta conversación con el escritor peruano se realizó en diciembre de 1997 en Berlín. Al principio no pensé publicarla, la usé solamente en conferencias o en tertulias con amigos. Cuando la presenté en una clase de literatura en la universidad de los lagos de Osorno, Chile (2001), Un colega me hizo la sugerencia de publicarla, porque le parecía muy interesante para conocer mejor al Gran novelista. Sus argumentos me convencieron y por eso me puse a transcribir este diálogo, cambiando de vez en cuando un detalle insignificante para facilitar una mejor lectura de la charla espontánea e informal en la casa berlinesa de Vargas llosa. | es-ES |
