The theatre of the young Spanish playwright Juan Mayorga is most appropriately defined as transgressive. In accordance with postmodern artistic expression, the concept of origin, originality and authenticity are under constant attack in his dramatic works. Mayorga’s theater is characterized by interesting narrative levels, the palimpsestic  convergence of spatial and temporal elements, The superimposition of conflicting mediated discourses,  the simultaneous construction and deconstruction of representation, and the absence of an objective social and historical authority. Mayorca places his dramatic discourse at the very center of the stage where the reality that unfolds is more the result of intuition than lifes experience thereby creating a theatrical experience whose confluence of texts, contexts, and meanings ultimately undermines the authority of objective reality and confers more power and autonomy to the artistic process.El joven dramaturgo español Juan Mayorga escribe un teatro de una textualidad abierta y más transgresor. De acuerdo con el arte posmoderno en que los conceptos de origen, originalidad y autenticidad están bajo ataque constante, el teatro de Mayorga se caracteriza por el entrecruce de múltiples niveles de narrativa dramática, la convergencia incesante de elementos espacio-temporales a manera de palimpsesto, la superimposición de conflictivos discursos mediados, la construcción y desconstrucción simultánea de la representación escénica, y la falta de una autoridad objetiva social e histórica.  Mayorga sitúa su discurso dramático en el propio centro del escenario donde se desenreda una realidad incluida más bien que vivida creando una experiencia teatral cuyo entrecruce de textos, contextos y significados acaban minando la autoridad de la realidad objetiva y confiriendo mayor poder y autonomía al proceso de la creación artística.
