The Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Eichtatt, Germany, brings together in a single volume the papers presented at the symposium “Peruvian Literature Today: Crisis and Creation.” The production of Peruvian literature in recent decades is studied and analyzed here, focusing on writers who have produced their work within or on the margins of its borders, in the context of an era marked by the political and economic crisis experienced by the country, to which its intellectuals and artists have not been indifferent.El Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos de la Universidad de Eichtatt, Alemania, reúne en un solo volumen los trabajos presentados al simposio “Literatura Peruana hoy: Crisis y creación”.  Se estudia y analiza aquí la producción de la literatura peruana de las últimas décadas, de escritores que han realizado su obra dentro o al margen de sus fronteras, en el contexto de una época marcada por la crisis política y económica que ha vivido el país y a la cual no han sido indiferentes sus intelectuales y artistas.
