dc.description	Hayden White publishes the book “Metahistory: The Historical Imagination in Nineteenth-century Europe” in 1973, in which he analyzes the most outstanding historical and philosophical works of the nineteenth century, evidencing similar elements that each one presented and that could be categorized allowing a greater understanding of these and of the past. Therefore, in this work we use the structure provided by White to analyze the work “History of Alexander the Great” by J.G. Droysen elaborated and published during the 19th century, to show the similarities with the studies carried out in that century, but also the influences that Droysen had when writing his book.	en-US
dc.description	White pública el libro “Metahistoria: la imaginación histórica en la Europa del siglo XIX” el año 1973, en el cual realiza un análisis de las obras históricas y filosóficas más destacadas del siglo XIX, evidenciando elementos similares que presentaba cada una y que podían ser categorizadas permitiendo una mayor comprensión de estas y del pasado, por lo que en este trabajo utilizamos la estructura entregada por White para analizar la obra “Alejandro Magno” de J.G. Droysen elaborada y publicada durante el siglo XIX, para evidenciar las similitudes con los estudios realizados en ese siglo, pero también las influencias que tuvo Droysen al momento de escribir su libro.	es-ES
