The article offers two contributions to the interesting debate about the quality of life, subjectivity and risk, in the area of Environment and Society. On the one hand it allows as to widden the knowledge of the importance of the subjects. And on the other it contributes to a systematic way of working with Latin American data.El artículo propone dos contribuciones al interesante debate sobre la calidad de vida, la subjetividad y el riesgo en el área de Medio Ambiente y Sociedad. Por un lado permite ampliar el conocimiento de la importancia que tienen los sujetos.  Y por el otro contribuye a una forma sistemática de trabajar con datos sobre América Latina.O artigo apresenta duas contribuições para o interessante debate sobre a qualidade de vida,a subjetividade e os riscos na área de Meio Ambiente e Sociedade.
