This paper describes the subjectivities within Chilean society using territorial distinctions and characteristics dealing with life satisfaction, mental health, and ethical variables, all of them related to well-being and solidarity. Particular attention is paid to two opposing pairs of values – whether it is better for people to live in an individualistic society or in a different one based on solidarity, and if they prefer to make sense of their lives through duty or well-being. In this analysis, logistic regression models are applied to each variable, with frequency descriptions across different territorial types, i.e. urban and rural areas.es-ES
