| dc.description | The article revolves around the usage of adverbialized adjectives in the mixed attributive system in peninsular Spanish and American Spanish. Having discussed the terminological confusion and chosen classificatory problems related to adverbialized adjectives, it focuses on the analysis of the semantic and syntactic characteristics of the use of six adjectives in adverbial function (alto, bajo, claro, duro, lento, and rápido) in copulative, disjunctive and adversarial structures based on the data extracted from the CREA and CORPES XXI corpora. The results of the research indicate that the mixed attributive system, which is manifested in the corpora almost exclusively in copulative struc- tures with the nexus y, is documented more frequently in American Spanish, compliant with the monocategorical attributive system described by Hummel (2013). | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo gira en torno al uso de los adjetivos adverbializados en el sistema atributivo mixto en el español peninsular y en el español de América. Tras presentar la confusión terminológica y algunos problemas clasificatorios relacionados con los adjetivos adverbializados, se analizan a base de los datos extraídos de los corpus CREA y CORPES XXI las características semánticas y sintácticas del empleo de seis adjetivos en función de adverbio (alto, bajo, claro, duro, lento y rápido) en estructuras copulativas, disyuntivas y adversativas. Los resultados de la investigación apuntan a que el sistema atributivo mixto, que se manifiesta en los corpus manejados casi exclusivamente en estructuras copulativas con el nexo y, se documenta con mayor frecuencia en el español de América, al igual que el sistema atributivo monocategorial descrito por Hummel (2013). | es-ES |
