| dc.description | This research refers to how the different instances of Jazz teaching in the city of Santiago de Chile are built, positioned, and classified. To do so, I determine three teaching categories: formal, semi-formal and informal, drawing from three specific instances to define each one. These would be ProJazz Professional Institute for formal education, Talleres de Jazz -an in-style repertoire ensemble course led by musicians from the scene- for semi-formal education, and experiences of musicians from the scene (myself included) in private classes, live performances as learning instances and self-taught training for informal teaching. | en-US |
| dc.description | Esta investigación refiere a cómo se construye, posicionan y clasifican las distintas instancias de enseñanza del Jazz en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile. Para ello, se determina tres categorías: formal, semiformal e informal, sosteniéndome de tres instancias para delimitar cada una de ellas. El Instituto Profesional ProJazz para la formal, los Talleres de Jazz -un curso de ensamblaje de repertorio en estilo liderado por músicos de la escena- para la semiformal y, por último, experiencias de músicos de la escena (incluyéndome) en clases particulares, presentaciones en vivo como instancias de aprendizaje y la formación autodidacta para la enseñanza informal. | es-ES |
