| dc.description | The main objective of the article is to provide an overview of the educational initiatives that girls, young women, and women in the rural areas of the Central Valley of Chile could access between 1930 and 1970. Although this is not an exhaustive panorama, the present research allows us to reconstruct the landscape of educational possibilities that existed. We start with the questions: what types of educational initiatives were there, and which agents participated? What kind of education was provided, and what were its objectives? The article is structured around two axes: the need to look beyond the State as an educational agent in rural areas and include other particular interest groups; and to incorporate non-formal education as an educational alternative for rural women. | en |
| dc.description | El artículo tiene como objetivo principal construir una panorámica sobre las iniciativas educativas a las que niñas, jóvenes y mujeres de los espacios rurales del Valle Central chileno pudieron acceder entre 1930 y 1970. Si bien no se trata de un panorama exhaustivo, la presente investigación nos permite reconstruir el escenario de posibilidades formativas. Partimos de las preguntas: ¿qué tipo de iniciativas educativas y qué agentes participaron? ¿qué tipo de educación fue impartida y cuáles eran sus objetivos? Se trabaja sobre dos ejes: la necesidad de mirar más allá del Estado como agente educativo en el espacio rural e incluir a otros grupos de interés particular; e incorporar la educación no-formal como una alternativa educativa para las mujeres campesinas. | es |
