The International Drama in Education Research Institute (IDIERI) is one of the leading global academic gatherings in the field of Applied Theatre. In this note, we offer a general analysis of the eleventh edition of IDIERI, held in June 2025 in Vancouver, Canada, under the title “Roots and Routes.” We had the opportunity to participate and present as Teatro a Pulso, a Chilean-based Applied Theatre in Health group. Reviewing the conference program and our experiences attending various presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, we identify key themes and some challenges that persist in this important event.El International Drama in Education Research Institute (IDIERI) es uno de los principales encuentros académicos del campo del Teatro Aplicado a nivel mundial. En esta nota, ofrecemos un análisis general de la decimoprimera versión del IDIERI, realizada en junio de 2025 en Vancouver, Canadá, bajo el título de “Raíces y Rutas”, en la que tuvimos la oportunidad de participar y exponer como Teatro a Pulso, agrupación de Teatro Aplicado en Salud basada en Chile. Revisando el programa del congreso y nuestras experiencias como asistentes a diversas ponencias, talleres y paneles de discusión, identificamos temáticas centrales y algunos desafíos que persisten en este relevante encuentro.
