Researching throughout a key period of two centuries, the article seeks to clarify the ways in which the irruption of the printing press determined the process of canonical fixation of the Judeo-Portuguese prayerbooks. This is a fundamental transit that coincides precisely with the great crisis experienced by Iberian Judaism at the end of the medieval period. With the expulsion of the Castilian and Aragonese communities and the forced conversion of the Portuguese, a complex path of reconversion and resignification of the Jewish identity rooted in the traditions of ancient Sepharad begins. The edition, translation and reformulation of the prayerbooks texts, both handwritten and printed, shaped a fundamental milestone of this itinerary.A través de una indagación a lo largo de un periodo clave de dos siglos, el artículo busca esclarecer los modos cómo la irrupción de la imprenta determinó el proceso de fijación canónica de los oracionales judeo-portugueses. Se trata de un tránsito fundamental que coincide precisamente con la gran crisis experimentada por el judaísmo ibérico al concluir el periodo medieval. Con la expulsión de las comunidades castellanas y aragonesas y la conversión forzada de las portuguesas, se inicia un complejo camino de reconversión y resignificación de la identidad judía arraigada en las tradiciones de la antigua Sefarad. La edición, traducción y reformulación de los textos de los oracionales, tanto manuscritos como impresos, formó parte fundamental de este itinerario.
