| dc.description | The history of the Mapuche people in Chile in recent decades has entered a new chapter: this time, from cities and universities, several generations of Mapuche thinkers and researchers have begun to write, debate, and participate in various forums regarding their own history and Chilean history, within frameworks theoretically marked by the weight of colonialism and decolonizing efforts in different spheres of this people’s actions. For this reason, we focus and discussion, largely due to the complexity of the temporal context studied and the Mapuche proposals that emerged during that period. Methodologically, this work is structured based on the historical method, the triangulation of sources, and documentary analysis, which reflects the emphases and rhythms of the debates in question. | en-US |
| dc.description | La historia del pueblo mapuche en Chile en las últimas décadas ha inaugurado un nuevo capítulo: esta vez, desde las ciudades y universidades, varias generaciones de pensadores e investigadores mapuche han comenzado a escribir, debatir y participar en diferentes foros respecto de la historia propia y la historia chilena, en códigos marcados de manera teórica por el peso del colonialismo y los esfuerzos descolonizadores en diferentes ámbitos de las acciones de este pueblo, motivo por el cual centramos la atención en los últimos 15 años de producción y discusión, en gran medida por la complejidad de la coyuntura temporal estudiada y las propuestas mapuche que fueron eclosionando en dicho período. Metodológicamente, este trabajo se articula a partir del método histórico, la triangulación de fuentes y análisis documental, lo que da cuenta de los énfasis y ritmos de los debates en cuestión. | es-ES |
