The budget in public bodies is the most important public policy document available for the management of resources, since it contains, in a very concrete way, the objectives and instruments of the policy. Transparency, on the other hand, is aimed at giving all people access to existing public information, which is how budget transparency is defined as the total opening of the pertinent tax information in a systematic way and in accordance with well-established times. This document gathers information related to the budget of the National Suicide Prevention Program (PNPS). The objective of the document is to provide a share of transparency for the use of the funds allocated to this program in recent years and to issue a judgment under the responsibility of the author regarding the obstacles that have arisen in its implementation. The information collected in this article was obtained mainly through the aforementioned websites and online interviews with officials who are directly involved in the execution of the program.  El presupuesto en los organismos públicos es el documento de política pública más importante con el que se cuenta para la gestión de los recursos, ya que allí se plasman, de manera muy concreta, los objetivos e instrumentos de la política. La transparencia por su parte está orientada a dar acceso a todas las personas a la información pública existente, es así como transparencia presupuestaria se define como la apertura total de la información fiscal pertinente de manera sistemática y de conformidad con tiempos bien establecidos.             El presente documento reúne información relacionada con el presupuesto del Programa Nacional de Prevención del Suicidio (PNPS). El objetivo del documento es entregar una cuota de transparencias al uso de los fondos asignados a este programa en los últimos años y emitir un juicio bajo la responsabilidad de la autora relacionado con los obstáculos que se han presentado en la implementación del mismo. La información vaciada en este artículo se obtuvo principalmente a través de los sitios web que se mencionan y de entrevistas online a funcionarios que participan directamente en la ejecución del programa.
