dc.descriptionFrom the perspectives of ethnography and epistemology, this study aims to elucidate this problem as a non-massive phenomenon and, primarily, as a symbolic space that fosters community around it. This phenomenon is framed as the potential existence of mystics, shamans, or other designated roles involving contact with ancestralities. Thus, this article seeks to address the following questions: Do contemporary mystics exist? And what is implied when posing such a question within today's society? Based on this notion, the first part of this article addresses the issue of dreams—specifically predictive dreams—within certain oral traditions, linking them to my own oneiric experiences through autoethnography. This approach is understood as a branch of ethnography that studies the customs and traditions of a culture or social group through the researcher’s lived experience as the subject of study.en-US
dc.descriptionDesde la etnografía y la epistemología, vamos a tratar de dilucidar esta problemática, como un fenómeno que no es masivo y sobre todo como un espacio simbólico que crea comunidad en torno a ese fenómeno -pensado como la posibilidad de la existencia de místicos, chamanes u otras formas de ser nombrados y el contacto con ancestralidades- para responder ¿Existen los místicos contemporáneos? ¿Qué queremos decir cuando proponemos esta pregunta o este cuestionamiento en una sociedad como la de hoy? A partir de esta noción, la primera parte de este artículo aborda el problema de los sueños, específicamente de los sueños predictores desde algunas tradiciones orales vinculado con mis propias experiencias oníricas a modo de autoetnografía -entendiendo como parte de la etnografía y el estudio de una cultura o grupo social, sus costumbres y tradiciones, pero desde mi experiencia por eso el auto-, es decir mis vivencias como sujeto de estudioes-ES
