| dc.description | Este escrito se refiere al personaje que creó el estilo que lleva su nombre, se aproxima al contexto histórico en que emergen sus diseños de muebles y decorados, describe en qué consiste la ‘marquetería Boulle’, señala cuáles son las dificultades de atribución o certificación de autenticidad en la actualidad, bajo el punto de vista que estos muebles se han “imitado” —de igual o similar forma— durante más de tres siglos. Finalmente, muestra en cierto detalle un bas d’armoire de fines del siglo XIX inspirado en la escuela Boulle, y reflexiona sobre algunas razones del por qué las imitaciones de los muebles al modo Boulle se siguen realizando hasta hoy, el aporte más democratizador de André-Charles Boulle. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This writing refers to the character that created the style that bears his name, approaches the historical context in which his furniture and decoration designs emerge, describes what Boulle marquetry is, and points out the difficulties of attribution or certification of authenticity at present, given that these pieces of furniture have been “imitated” in the same or similar way for more than three centuries. Finally, it shows in a certain detail a bas d’armoire of the late nineteenth century inspired by the Boulle school and reflects on some reasons why the imitations of furniture in Boulle mode are still made today, the most democratized contribution to the current time of André-Charles Boulle. | en-US |
