RESUMENEn este artículo pretendo adentrarme en el análisis del seseo en dos comunidades de habla: una formada por individuos nacidos y residentes en la localidad granadina de Pinos Puente; y otro constituido por hablantes procedentes de dicho municipio que han instalado su residencia definitiva en Granada.  El objeto central de este trabajo reside en poner de manifiesto el valor que ha adquirido el seseo como variedad lingüística distinta de la nativa (ceceo) en las comunidades de habla mencionadas.AbstractIn this article I intend to go deep into the analysis of seseo in two speech communities: one formed by people born and having their residence in the Granada town of Pinos Puente, and another formed by speakers coming from the before mentioned town who have definitely settled in Granada. The central aim of this essay lies in showing the value that seseo has acquired as a different linguistic variation from the native (ceceo) in the before mentioned speech communities.
