| dc.description | El artículo procura determinar si la teoría lingüística contemporánea puede alcanzar un grado de adecuación explicativo al ser confrontada con un corpus latino específico. En razón del aspecto mas relevante del lenguaje- su carácter semántico-se desarrolla un análisis empírico con una categoría de naturaleza semántica, el caso profundo, sobre el poema "Ad se ipsum" de Catulo. El procedimiento muestra que tal noción es pertinente para describir aspectos formales de una lengua, como también para formular hipótesis referidas a su desarrollo histórico.ABSTRACT:This is an attempt to establish whether the contemporary linguistic theory could reach certain explicative degree of adequacy when confronted with an specific latin corpus. Due to the most relevant aspects of the language- its semantic character- an empiric analysis is developed within the category of semantic nature, the deep case, about Catulo's poem, "Ad se ipsum". The procedure will show how pertinent this notion is in order to describe the formal aspects of a language, as well as for the formulation of hypotheses related to its historic development. | es-ES |
