La figura del espejo es un elemento semiótico que simboliza dualidad. Esta característica es propia de los poemas “La vejez de Narciso”(1955) y “No hay narciso que valga” (1983) del poeta chileno Enrique Lihn. Estos dos poemas dan cuenta de una escritura marcada por la duplicación semántica, además, de un carácter hermético y academicista. De esta manera, nuestro objetivo es identificar lingüísticamente las marcas de duplicidad en los poemas “La vejez de Narciso” y “No hay narciso que valga” de Enrique Lihn. Además, nos apoyamos en la semiótica dual presente en el poema de Ovidio. Los resultados de esta investigación son útiles para posteriores estudios lingüísticos en poesía y la forma en que se presenta el efecto de dualidad.ABSTRACTThe figure of the mirror is a semiotic element symbolizing duality and a defining characteristic in the poems “The old age of Narcissus” (1955) and “There is no narcissus worth it” (1983) by the Chilean poet Enrique Lihn. These two poems reveal writing that is marked by semantic duplicity as well as a hermetic and academic nature. Our objective is to linguistcally identify the indicators of duplicity in the poems “The old age of Narcissus” and “There is no narcissus worth it” by Enrique Lihn. In addition, the study is based on the dual semiotics present in Ovid’s poem. The results of this investigation are useful for further linguistic studies in poetry and the form in which the effect of duality is presented.
