El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un análisis sobre representaciones de la otredad en el fútbol jujeño. A tal fin trabajaremos sobre diferentes superficies discursivas (entrevistas, observaciones y especialmente crónicas periodísticas), centrándonos en el club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy y su papel en la construcción de una identidad jujeña. Nos interesa indagar en las distintas maneras que "los otros" aparecen representados en este cuerpo discursivo, atendiendo especialmente al papel central de los medios de comunicación en la construcción y distribución de los imaginarios sociales.The goal of this article is to analyze otherness in Jujuy´s soccer game. The author works with several discourses (interviews, observations and newspaper reports), focusing on Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy team, and their role in building the jujeñishness identity. The author examinetes the different ways of "the others" appear to be represented in this discourse, putting careful to the main role of media in the building and distribution of social imaginaries.
