Publicación de carácter multidisciplinario orientada al análisis y evaluación de la relación entre el funcionamiento del sistema económico, en sus niveles micro y macro, y las prácticas e instituciones políticas que establecen decisiones regulatorias de diverso alcance al repecto. El foco de los análisis se centra particularmente en Chile y América Latina, aunque la revista mantiene un especial interés en fenómenos globales que tengan repercusiones en el acontecer de esta región.
