| dc.description | La población aymara de lquique está sometida a fuertes tensiones a causa de los impactos de la modernización chilena, readecuándose en términos políticos y sociales. Esta situación, que muchas veces escapa al reconocimiento propio y de los otros sujetos con quienes interactúa, debe evidenciarse a fin de que se fortalezca su ciudadanía y que las políticas estatales tengan mas pertinencia.

The aymara population of lquique is subjected to strong tensions dueto the impacts of the chilean modernization process readjusting itself in political and social terms. This situation, must be made evident so that its citizenship be strengthened and state policies have more relevancy.
