El siguiente artículo analiza la experiencia de una migrante peruana en un cruce o punto de frontera argentino en los años ‘90. Esto no solo para analizar la experiencia individual de María Elena sobre cómo experimenta las políticas de control migratorio, sino, también, para obtener herramientas sobre las relaciones de poder, o micro-poderes, y los modos de resistencia. Para alcanzar este objetivo trabajaremos desde una metodología cualitativa con las entrevistas realizadas a María Elena, además de recuperar fuentes secundarias y primarias que nos permitan contextualizar su experiencia en relación con la migración peruana en Argentina y el contexto sociopolítico imperante en la región. El artículo sostiene que para comprender la complejidad de las políticas migratorias, es necesario, por un lado, recuperar las experiencias de los sujetos que transitan los puntos de fronteras y, por el otro, preguntarse cómo en realidad aceptan, contestan o resignifican las políticas de control migratorio, sin asumir a priori que se sujetan a las condiciones que las políticas le fijan. It analyzes the individual experience of Maria Elena about how one undergoes migration control policies, but also it aims at obtaining tools about power relations, or micro-powers, and resistance modes at the borders. To reach this objective, we work from a qualitative methodology, with surveys carried out to Maria Elena. Also, we recover secondary and primary sources which allow us to contextualize her experience in relation to Peruvian migration to Argentina, and the ongoing sociopolitical context of the region. The article holds that to understand the complexity of migration policies, it is necessary to recover the experiences of the individuals who transit the border points on the one hand; and to ask how they actually accept, reply or resignify migration control policies, without a priori assuming that they comply with the with the prevailing policies.
