| dc.description | Events like Occupy Wall Street, the Arab Spring or the 15-M Movement in Spain, all of which were clearly carried out due to the social demands of populations seeking to recover the power of choice over the most quotidian issues (work, housing, education, leisure, etc.), speak of the resurgence of a collective need to reappropriate cities and territories through greater understanding and involvement in processes that affect their quality of daily life.The main objective of this reflection is to provide a new point of view based on this current need to find and define new mechanisms and instruments for dialogue and relationships, and integration and intermediation. Starting from architecture and territorial design and through the creation and reactivation of new and old synergies and existing affective relationships in a territory, these strategies will enable on a local level the redefinition and restoration of a sense of domesticity and appropriation for the populations that inhabit these territories.In particular, based on the reinterpretation of the concept of landscape brought about by the European Commission, it is proposed that the origin of these strategies be sought not in urban areas but rather outside of cities, on their edges, in certain “natural-rural” areas that still possess the appropriate scale, which is linked to the preservation and development of everyday life and the ability and symbolic-affective potential needed to become the source of a number of new relationships and dialectical and creative processes. | en-US |
| dc.description | Eventos como "tomemos Wall Strett", las "primaveras árabes" o el "15M" en España, que poseen un claro carácter de reivindicación social y de búsqueda de la recuperación, por parte de la población, del poder de elección sobre las cuestiones más cotidianas (trabajo, vivienda, educación, ocio, etc.), nos hablan del resurgir de una necesidad colectiva de reapropiación de la ciudad y el territorio, a través de una mayor comprensión e implicación en los procesos que repercuten diariamente en la calidad de vida de sus habitantes.El objetivo principal de esta reflexión será la de aportar un nuevo punto de vista basado en aquella necesidad actual de buscar y definir nuevos mecanismos e instrumentos de diálogo y de relación, de integración e intermediación que, desde la arquitectura y el diseño territorial, permitan, a través de la creación y reactivación de las nuevas y antiguas sinergias y relaciones afectivas existentes en el territorio, la re-definición y recuperación de una escala local y un sentimiento de domesticidad y de apropiación, por parte de las poblaciones que habitan dichos territorios.En particular, partiendo de la reinterpretación del concepto de paisaje llevada a cabo por la Comisión Europea, proponemos indagar el origen de estas estrategias, no en los ámbitos urbanos, sino, al contrario, fuera de la ciudad, en los límites de esta, en ciertas áreas “naturales-rurales”, que mantengan aún, ya sea la escala adecuada vinculada a la conservación y desarrollo de una cotidianeidad, o bien la capacidad y el potencial simbólico-afectivo necesario para convertirse en la raíz de toda una serie de nuevas relaciones y procesos dialécticos y creativos. | es-ES |
