| dc.description | Valparaíso como Sitio del Patrimonio mundial UNESCO, se concretó en el año 2003, significando dicho reconocimiento la consolidación de un largo e intenso proceso de identificación y protección del patrimonio cultural y la apertura de una etapa nueva consistente en la creación y aplicación de una gestión integral y eminentemente compleja del recurso cultural reconocido a nivel mundial.Esta ciudad, resulta un testimonio excepcional de la fase temprana de globalización de avanzado el siglo XIX, cuando se convirtió en el puerto comercial líder de las rutas navieras de la costa del Pacífico de Sudamérica. En este sentido, el presente trabajo se presenta desde el punto de vista metodológico, como un estudio realizado en Valparaíso en orden a reforzar e identificar los bienes del patrimonio arquitectónico, urbano y cultural, sirviendo para promover la primera ordenanza para su Conservación y Preservación dentro de los instrumentos de la planificación territorial. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Valparaiso was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCo in 2003, which represented the end of a long and intense process of identification and protection of the cultural heritage, as well as the beginning of a new stage of creation and application of an integral and complex management system for dealing with a cultural resource of international value.This city represents a valuable testimony of the early stage of the globalization process of the 19th Century, when the city became the leading commercial port of the shipping routes of the Pacific Coast of Latin america. Within this context, this work aims at identifying and highlighting the assets of architectural, urban and cultural heritage; helping to promote the first regulation for its conservation and preservation within the instruments of territorial planning. | en-US |
