| dc.description | Este trabajo, busca establecer que en Chile el tema de la descentralización ha sido colocado en la agenda pública, más que por razones ideológicas sustentadas en un "modelo de economía social de mercado", por consideraciones netamente de índole administrativo y político. La carencia de un marco axiológico y doctrinario del proceso de descentralización, es sin lugar a dudas la principal debilidad del proceso chileno y por lo mismo, procesos de redemocratización, a través de la reestructuración del Estado y de sus funciones, o la relegitimación del Estado han estado más presentes que ninguna otra consideración. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article puts forward the idea that the issue of decentralisation in Chile has been introduced in the public agenda in response to administrative and political considerations more than ideological reasons sustained in “social market economy model”. The lack of an axiological and doctrinal framework for the decentralisation process is undoubtedly the main weakness of the Chilean process. For this reason, processes of re-democratisation through the re-structuring of the State and its functions, or the re-legitimacy of the State have been more important than any other consideration. | en-US |
