| dc.description | Quality of life in regions represents a group of tasks through which societies ensure that territorial and spatial transformations provide a better existence for their inhabitants, both humans and natural processes that sustain social life in a region. Territorial planning instruments have certainly followed this general task of enhancing the quality of life of a region and its environmental sustainability. But they also should clearly state the strategies that they intend to implement in order to enhance a particular aspect of quality of life in the region at a more global scale, both human and natural.This article discusses some possible ways to achieve these tasks and partial results in order to mov e towards a better quality of life at a regional and local scale. | en-US |
| dc.description | La calidad de vida regional representa entonces un conjunto de metas por medio de las cuales las sociedades se aseguran que las transformaciones territoriales y espaciales proporcionen una mejor existencia a sus habitantes, tanto de la sociedad como también la sustentabilidad de todos los procesos naturales que fundamentan la vida social en una región. Los Planes de Ordenamiento Territorial, ciertamente han de enmarcarse en esta meta más general de aumentar la calidad de vida regional y la sustentabilidad medioambiental. Pero también deben expresar claramente cual es el aspecto estratégico que en particular pretenden implementar para mejorar en la región un determinado aspecto de esa calidad de vida más global, sea ella humana o natural.Este artículo reflexiona sobre algunos de esas vías posibles, como medios para alcanzar logros y resultados parciales que sumen hacia la gran propuesta de una mejor calidad de vida global regional y local. | es-ES |
