dc.descriptionThis article explores the process of development of the main historiographic genres that emerge at the beginning of the classic Islam. In this sense, this work examines biographical literature and literature of the conquest from the first period until that of annalistic and universal character. Special attention will be paid to the practices conceived to validate the news (jabar) from the so called “hadith sciences”, which allows the historian to validate both his sources and his narrative.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo indaga en el proceso de desarrollo de los principales géneros historiográficos que surgen en los albores del islam clásico. En ese sentido el trabajo indaga en la literatura biográfica y de conquista de la primera época hasta llegar a aquella de carácter analítico y universal. Especial hincapié se hace en el ejercicio concebido para validar la noticia (jabar) a partir de las denominadas “ciencias del hadiz”, todo lo cual permite al historiador validar sus fuentes y, de paso, su relato.es-ES
