This article focuses its attention on the European sinful collective conscience into the field of astrological prophecies in Germany in the fifteenth century. The analysis will be based on the Iustitia Dei, one of the Biblical teachings that determined the pious behavior of the men of those days. The bi-functional interpretation of the God´s law was manifested through charity's and love's works, which constituted the spiritual root that allowed imperial power to coerce the citizen through prophetic propaganda. The Prognosticatio of Johannes Lichtenberger is one of the sources that better show the highly detailed, through which astrologer sought for conjugate the imperial objectives with a collective fearful of God, by using themes and intellectual strategies which convert him into the master and owner of his predictions.El presente artículo estudia la conciencia pecadora colectiva europea y su proyección al ámbito de los pronósticos astrológicos en la Alemania del siglo XV, siguiendo de cerca el concepto de Iustitua Dei, o Juicio Divino, uno de los preceptos bíblicos que rigieron el comportamiento piadoso de los hombres de la época. La interpretación bi-funcional de la ley de Dios se manifestó a través de obras de amor y caridad, las cuales constituyeron la raíz espiritual que permitió al poder imperial coaccionar a los ciudadanos por medio de la propaganda profética. La Prognosticatio de Johannes Lichtenberger se presenta como uno de los testimonios que mejor muestran la prolijidad con la cual el astrólogo de la época supo conjugar los objetivos imperiales con un colectivo temeroso de Dios, a partir de temáticas y estrategias intelectuales que lo convirtieron en el dueño y amo de sus predicciones.
