This process was crucial for the processing and analysis of spacial information, and later to develop strategies that achieve improved land management. | dc.description | Se presenta un proceso de investigación ciudadana en la cual la creación de mapas participativos mediante la utilización de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) fue crucial para el procesamiento y análisis de información territorial, para posteriormente poder elaborar estrategias que logren una mejorar gestión territorial. Se analiza y discute la utilidad de la cartografía participativa como una modalidad de registrar en forma gráfica y representativa los diferentes componentes de un territorio, para contribuir a la formulación e implementación de políticas de gestión urbana a nivel de barrios. | es-ES |
