| dc.description | El propósito del presente artículo es colocar en relieve los conceptos de Guerra, Diplomacia, Inteligencia y la noción de Equilibrio de Poderes, estableciendo de manera sucinta una revisión teórica, la cual, desde distintos enfoques, formulados por algunos autores, nos permite aproximarnos a una definición precisa de ellos. Por otro lado, se procura aquí, analizar la relación de los factores mencionados, a partir de su interacción compleja en un conflicto bélico contemporáneo. Con ese fin y, bajo un relato-analítico, se abordará el caso de la Guerra de las Malvinas (1982), en que los gobiernos de Argentina y del Reino Unido midieron fuerzas, interviniendo además en la contienda, el gobierno chileno, el cual, obedeciendo a motivaciones propias de su seguridad nacional, participa de manera discreta colaborando con el partido inglés. Ahora bien, a partir de la observación y examen del comportamiento chileno, se pretende determinar si este se ajustó o no, a un principio rector de las relaciones internacionales (el equilibrio de poderes). | es-ES |
| dc.description | The purpose of this article is to identify the concepts war, diplomacy and balance of power by a brief theoretical revision which has different perspectives formulated by some authors. This revision will allow us to approach an accurate definition of them. On the other hand, it tries to analyze the relation of the concepts based on a complex interaction in a contemporary war conflict in order to present the Falklands War (1982) case under an analytical account. Also, how the Government of Argentina and United Kingdom had to face the war and how the Government of Chile took part in the dispute due to a personal motivation about national security participating with the British Country discreetly. Then, it is expected to determine if the Chilean behavior, based on the observation and analysis, met a guiding principle of the international relations (the Balance of Power). | en-US |
