dc.descriptionA partir de la apertura neoliberal en Chile comienza una reestructuración productiva en todo el territorio nacional. Una de las políticas que ha profundizado cambios en el medio rural del secano interior es el Decreto Ley N° 701 de Fomento Forestal que ha propiciado un aumento del uso de suelo forestal implicando una serie de cambios en el sector productivo incluyendo el agropecuario. En el territorio rural de Yumbel predomina la Agricultura Familiar Campesina y la Pequeña Agricultura, quienes han vivido el recorrido de las transformaciones en las formas de producción, los modos de abordar el desarrollo rural y las mutaciones en la configuración territorial. Aspectos que se presentan como un desafío para la gestión local y el tejido social de la comuna. Esta investigación analiza los cambios en la estructura productiva, las modificaciones en las formas y contenidos del espacio geográfico y sintetiza el comportamiento de la gestión de las actividades agropecuarias que se asocian a dichos procesos en los ámbitos del funcionamiento de la asistencia técnica y agricultura familiar campesina; articulación y asociatividad; comercialización y diversificación y ventajas y restricciones territoriales.es-ES
dc.descriptionFrom the neoliberal opening in Chile begins a productive restructuring throughout the national territory. One of the policies that have deepened changes in the rural environment of the interior dryland is the Decree Law No. 701 of Forestry Development that has led to an increase in the use of forest land involving a series of changes in the productive sector including agriculture and livestock. In the rural territory of Yumbel, the Peasant Family Farming and the Small Agriculture predominate, who have lived the journey of the transformations in the forms of production, the ways of approaching the rural development and the mutations in the territorial configuration. Aspects that are presented as a challenge for local management and the social fabric of the commune. This research analyzes the changes in the productive structure, the modifications in the forms and contents of the geographical space and synthesizes the behavior of the management of agricultural activities that are associated to these processes in the fields of operation of technical assistance and peasant family agriculture; articulation and associativity; marketing and diversification and territorial advantages and restrictions.en-US
