A segurança pública é um dos maiores problemas sociais da atualidade, corroborando com a problemática da falta de direitos e garantias constitucionais que assegurem proteção à pessoa do policial. As paralisações de Policiais Militares são acontecimentos raros, mas, quando emergem, acarretam preocupantes consequências para a sociedade. No decorrer das reivindicações, em função da ausência do policiamento ostensivo, a população regride a uma desordem de barbárie. Tais movimentos, contudo, constituem uma das formas de maior impacto que os Policiais Militares têm para pleitear e apresentar propostas que atendam aos interesses da classe. Nesse caso, o estudo em tela utilizou-se do método dedutivo, partindo do panorama geral dos protestos para a análise da legislação, para propostas de audiências públicas e de associações enquanto meios para buscar a efetivação do direito.Public safety is one of the major social problems of the present time, corroborating with the problem of the lack of constitutional rights and guarantees that provide protection to the person of the police officer. The Military Police paralyzes are rare occurrences, but when they emerge, they cause worrying consequences for society.
