dc.descriptionThe basic dwelling programme is one of the most important officially implemented programmes in the whole history of the country. Nevertheless, when housing is seen as a more complex process than the distribution of a few square metres to preserve the privacy of human acts sheltered by them, it is possible to attempt a more global and critical focus of the housing problems different from that of the recent past, first at a national level, and principally at a Metropolitan level. For these reasons, it is necessary for analyzing this programme to stablish its relationships with other subjects of fundamental importance, because notwithstanding its contribution and its quantitative achievement, it has not been able to respond to a series of qualitative subjects referred to the improvement of quality of life, a situation that has generated doubts about its sustainability.en-US
dc.descriptionEl programa de viviendas básicas (PVB) es uno de los programas oficiales más importantes implementados en el país en toda su historia. Sin embargo, cuando se piensa en la vivienda como un proceso bastante más complejo que la simple distribución de algunos metros cuadrados para resguardar la privacidad de los actos que éstos acogen, se puede intentar un enfoque bastante más global y crítico de la manera como se ha venido enfrentando, en el último tiempo, el problema habitacional a nivel nacional, y principalmente a nivel metropolitano. Por todo esto es que para analizar este programa se hace necesario entonces relacionarlo con otros temas de fundamental importancia, puesto que a pesar de sus contribuciones y de su superación cuantitativa no ha logrado dar respuestas a una serie de temas de orden cualitativo ligados al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida, situación que ha generado dudas sobre la sustentabilidad del mismo.es-ES
