dc.description | El empleo de métodos objetivos para cuantificar los niveles e intensidad de la conducta sedentaria así como de la actividad física, podrían estar cambiando la noción respecto a quien es una persona realmente sedentaria y quien es activa físicamente. Situación que además, estaría demostrando cierto efecto de interferencia en relación a los beneficios de la actividad física y el efecto perjudicial del sedentarismo sobre el estado de salud. El objetivo de la presente revisión es esclarecer los cambios acontecidos en esta materia en el último tiempo y entregar recomendaciones sobre actividad física y hábito sedentario afines a estos nuevos antecedentes con la finalidad de que puedan ser incluidos en las futuras estrategias y recomendaciones de salud para la población. | es-ES |
dc.description | The use of objective methods to measure physical activity and thus assess sedentary lifestyle, may change the definition of individuals as being sedentary or physically active. This situation would also interfere on the benefits of physical activity and the dangerous effects of sedentary lifestyle on health. The aim of this review is to clarify the changes that have recently occurred in this area. These could be included in future health care strategies and recommendations for the population. | en-US |
