dc.description	Three issues are considered in this paper, having as a background the results of a time sustained research line; they are: what happens to Secondary School students after they graduate, under the perspective of a consideration about the “what for” and the inclusion of this aspect as a criterion to recognize the system’s quality and equity; second, the principles, proposals and expectations that can be set upon the pedagogical actors, are analyzed based on these issues considering the modernity and postmodernity dispute; and third, the meaning of this long research experience for the researchers is also examined.	en-US
dc.description	Teniendo en cuenta los resultados de una línea de investigación sostenida en el tiempo, el autor reflexiona sobre los tres aspectos: lo que acontece con los alumnos luego que egresan de la Educación Media bajo la perspectiva de una reflexión sobre el para qué y la consideración de este aspecto como un criterio para reconocer la calidad y equidad del sistema; un análisis de los principios, propuestas y expectativas que pueden ser formulados a los actores pedagógicos a partir de los antecedentes anteriores, incorporando la problemática de la modernidad y postmodernidad; un análisis de significado de esta larga experiencia de investigación para los investigadores.	es-ES
