El autor analiza el reconocimiento del derecho a huelga como un derecho humano fundamental desde una perspectiva internacional y comparada. It looks, fi rst, at the way in which different supra-national legal systems recognize the right to strike as a fundamental human right. In a second part, the author analyses some of the limitations to the right to strike that each of these systems allow. Finally, the article concludes by assessing the position of the right to strike as a fundamental human right, taking into account the problems that arise from different forms of recognition and limitation.
