dc.descriptionObjective: To evaluate the knowledge degree in primary health care Odontologists regarding the clinical guide for Explicit health guarantees for 60 years old adults, evidence-based recommendations for the optimization in clinical attention of this group. Material and Methods: A transversal descriptive study was conducted, surveying Primary Care professionals from the Family Health Centers of the Municipal Corporation of Valparaíso, with at least a 6 months old work contract. An informed consent was signed by all participants before an instrument was applied to them, where general data were consulted: 15 clinical-guide related questions, and 4 opinion related questions.   Results: The sample consisted of 41 professionals, belonging to 12 Family Health Centers, of which, 41% worked full time. 36 professionals acknowledge the guide, 31 of them have read it, and 71% of them have accessed it via the web. The mean of knowledge was 71.23% of correct answers, with a range between 40% and 92%. The recommendation of electric toothbrushes was correct in all, meanwhile, the wrongest answers were those concerning the normal characteristic of the mucosa and Xerostomia Treatment. The highest scores were obtained by professionals with less than 5 years of working experience. 58% recognize barriers and limited time available for their implementation, lack of supplies, difficulty in accessing the guide, among others. 57,58% believe that the guide is a good way of standardization. Conclusion: 71% of professionals surveyed possess adequate knowledge of the guide.  en-US
dc.descriptionObjetivo: Evaluar el grado de conocimiento de Odontólogos de Atención Primaria sobre la Guía Clínica GES para el adulto de 60 Años, recomendaciones basadas en la evidencia para la optimización de la atención este grupo.Material y Método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal encuestando profesionales de los Centros de Salud Familiar de la Corporación Municipal de Valparaíso, con al menos 6 meses de antigüedad. Firmaron el consentimiento informado y se les aplicó un instrumento donde se consultaban datos generales, 15 preguntas de conocimiento sobre la Guía Clínica GES para el adulto de 60 Años y 4 de opinión personal.Resultados: La muestra constó de 41 profesionales de 12 Centros, de los cuales el 41% trabajaba jornada completa. 36 profesionales conocen la guía, 31 la ha leído, y el 71% accede a ella vía web. La media del conocimiento fue de 71,23% de respuestas correctas, rango entre 40% y 92%. La recomendación del uso de cepillos eléctricos estuvo correcta en todos, siendo las menos correctas las características normales de la mucosa, y el tratamiento de la Xerostomía. Los resultados fueron más altos en aquellos que tienen menos de 5 años de experiencia. El 58% reconoce barreras para su implementación como poco tiempo disponible para su implementación, falta de insumos, dificultad de acceso a la guía, entre otros. El 57,58% cree que la guía es una buena forma de estandarización.Conclusión: El 71% de los profesionales evaluados poseen un conocimiento adecuado respecto a la guía.es-ES
