El turismo rural es un elemento determinante para el desarrollode las zonas rurales, y con la riqueza y diversidad de los recursos naturales, el patrimonio histórico, artístico y cultural que poseen Andalucía y la provincia de Córdoba, hacen posible el auge del sector analizado en esta región. Para que la demanda de turismo rural sea significativa y genere un desarrollo turístico y económico, han de implementarse lasestrategias de marketing adecuadas una vez establecido el perfil del turista rural. Con la aparición del COVID-19 en el año 2020, el sector turístico se ha visto muy afectado, aunque las cifras relativas a turismo rural reflejan una caída menor si las comparamos con otros sectores conexos.Palabras clave: turismo rural; Andalucía; Córdoba; turista ruraly recursos naturales.ABSTRACTRural tourism is a determining element for the development of rural areas, and with the wealth and diversity of natural resources, the historical, artistic and cultural heritage that Andalusia and the province of Córdoba have, they make possible the boom of the sector analyzed in this region.
