dc.description	In this paper we present some ideas concerning the element of irrationality that Karl Popper incorporates, explicitly, as foundation of his critical rationalism. In addition, we approach part of the objections directed to the matter having as a principal source the work Logic and ethic in Karl Popper, of Mariano Artigas. The author, besides gathering and analyzing in his book one brief but valuable intervention of the Austrian philosopher regarding the topic -registered in Kyoto’s Seminar realized in 1992-, adds, since his own perspective, the critiques against Popper and his, apparently, unnecessary commitment with the irrationality. In this work, we try to show that the above mentioned interference of the irrationality has plenary sense in the general author’s approach of the The open society and its enemies.	en-US
dc.description	En lo que sigue, presentamos algunas ideas en torno al elemento de irracionalidad que Karl Popper incorpora, explícitamente, como fundamento de su racionalismo crítico. Abordamos, además, parte de las objeciones dirigidas al respecto teniendo como principal fuente de las mismas el trabajo Lógica y ética en Karl Popper, de Mariano Artigas. El autor, además de recoger y analizar en su libro una breve pero valiosa intervención del filósofo austriaco sobre el tema -registrada en el Seminario de Kyoto realizado en 1992-, se suma, desde su propia perspectiva, a las críticas contra Popper y su, en apariencia, innecesario compromiso con lo irracional. Por nuestra parte, intentamos mostrar que dicha injerencia de lo irracional tiene pleno sentido dentro del planteamiento general del autor de La sociedad abierta y sus enemigos.	es-ES
