The purpose of this paper is to analyze the process of splitting and reconfiguration of the modern pedagogical subject in Latin America, in the time determined by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic (COVID-19). To this end, we first examine the socio-historical conditions in which the Latin American pedagogical subject was constituted, considering the homogenization of social subjects and the strengthening of economic inequalities as defining conditions of modern education in the region. Subsequently, we try to make visible several aspects linked to the splitting of the pedagogical subject, derived, above all, from the conditions of confinement and distancing of the actors that constitute it, as well as the technologicalization of education. Finally, we propose lines of reflection with a view to the reconfiguration of the Latin American pedagogical subject, which allows the recognition of a complex and dynamic subject, located in singular temporal-spatial circumstances, and which enhances the integration of projects for the peoples that make up the Latin American territory.El presente trabajo tiene como propósito analizar el proceso de escisión y reconfiguración del sujeto pedagógico moderno de América Latina, en el tiempo determinado por la pandemia del SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Para cubrir este propósito se examinan, en primer lugar, las condiciones sociohistóricas en que el sujeto pedagógico latinoamericano se constituyó, considerando la homogeneización de los sujetos sociales y la potenciación de desigualdades económicas como condiciones definitorias de la educación moderna en la región. Posteriormente, se procuran visibilizar diversos aspectos vinculados con la escisión del sujeto pedagógico, derivados, sobre todo, de las condiciones de confinamiento y distanciamiento de los actores que lo constituyen, así como de la tecnologización de la educación. Para finalizar, se proponen ejes de reflexión con miras a una reconfiguración del sujeto pedagógico latinoamericano, que permita el reconocimiento de un sujeto complejo y dinámico, situado en circunstancias temporo-espaciales singulares, y que potencie la integración de proyectos para los pueblos que conforman el territorio de América Latina.
