| dc.description | One of the approaches that is arising more and more in the field of education, and more specifically in the foreign language field, is mobile phone assisted learning. The aim of this paper is to investigate, through a questionnaire survey divided into 4 parts, the actual use of mobile phones by 40 Ourense campus (University of Vigo, Spain) students, their attitudes and the problems they face. The most significant findings show that in order to integrate the mobile device successfully into the teaching-learning process, this should be accompanied by specific training of users, encouraging the use of the tool and favouring attitudes, because if the end users are not convinced of its success, this will result in a high probability of failure | en-US |
| dc.description | Una de las áreas que más interés viene suscitando en los últimos años en el campo de la educación, y concretamente en el campo del de la lengua extranjera, es el aprendizaje a través del teléfono móvil. El objetivo de este artículo es investigar, a través de un cuestionario dividido en 4 partes, el uso del teléfono móvil por parte de 40 alumnos del campus de Ourense (Universidad de Vigo, España), sus actitudes y los problemas a los que se enfrentan. Los hallazgos más significantes muestran que, para que la integración del dispositivo móvil en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje sea exitosa, esta ha de venir acompañada de una formación específica de usuarios, potenciándose el uso de la herramienta y favoreciendo las actitudes, ya que si los usuarios finales no están convencidos de su éxito, esto se traducirá en una alta probabilidad de fracaso | es-ES |
