The aim of this article is to describe the intonation trends in the headlines of the main Spanish television channels. For this, a discursive-perspective of analysis is taken. First, the prosodic features of the three prosodic patterns identified for the news reading discourse in different media and contents are described: the singsong, the emphatic and the natural. Secondly, an acoustic analysis is carried out to identify the pitch peaks and intonation contours by using percentages on a 79 corpus of contours, classified in anacrusis, body and final inflexion, which belong to the beginning, development and end of the headline. Results show a general tendency to use the natural pattern, although there are two sensationalist-driven channels that still use the singsong and the emphatic patterns. Finally, it is proposed that a comprehensive structure of news be modeled with margins for variability depending on text content.  El objetivo del artículo es describir las tendencias entonativas en los titulares de los informativos televisivos españoles. Para ello, se adopta una perspectiva de análisis discursivo. Primero, se revisan los rasgos prosódicos de los tres patrones prosódicos identificados en el discurso informativo en los diferentes medios y lenguas: la cantinela, el enfático y el natural. Y segundo, se realiza un análisis acústico de los picos tonales y las curvas entonativas mediante un método de estilización porcentual de la curva melódica, sobre un corpus de 79 contornos, clasificados en anacrusis, cuerpo o inflexión final, y pertenecientes a grupos de inicio, desarrollo o final de titular. Los resultados indican una tendencia generalizada a utilizar el patrón natural, si bien aún hay dos medios, con tendencia al sensacionalismo, que continúan utilizando la cantinela y el patrón enfático. Finalmente, se plantea la necesidad de desarrollar modelos entonativos integrales para el tipo de discurso, con un margen de variabilidad según el contenido textual.
