| dc.description | Frente al carácter cerrado del inventario de las preposiciones españolas, las locuciones prepositivas tienen un carácter abierto. Las locuciones prepositivas del tipo Prep.+ Núcleo + Prep., analizadas en este trabajo, no presentan uniformidad funcional y desempeñan diversas funciones sintácticas. El autor establece dos grupos de locuciones prepositivas: las gramaticalizadas, cuyo núcleo ha perdido su significado original, y otras, que son productivas sólo en determinadas estructuras.
