| dc.description | This paper analyzes the variation between the following sentences: (1) “una concepción que no la tiene consciente” and (2) “una concepción que no tiene consciente”. Case (1), unlike (2), shows a relative clause with a clitic (called “reassumptive” or “pleonastic”) that explicitly retrieves the antecedent. We propose the speaker reiterates the antecedent with the clitic, when having established the theme, he is not yet sure about what he wants to say, because he intends to introduce new information, or because he intends to produce a contrast. In those cases, the speaker distributes again the Theme/Rheme progression of the relative clause recreating the informative progression of a sentence. We make a quantitative and qualitative analysis of authentic data. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo se ocupa del análisis de la variación que se registra en los siguientes ejemplos: (1) “una concepción que no la tiene consciente” versus (2) “una concepción que no tiene consciente”. El ejemplo (1) presenta en la cláusula relativa, a diferencia de (2), un clítico (llamado “reasuntivo” o “pleonástico” por otros autores) que retoma de manera explícita el antecedente. Se propone que el hablante señala el antecedente nuevamente con el clítico cuando ha colocado un tema y todavía no está seguro de lo que quiere decir al respecto, porque va a introducir información nueva y/o producir algún contraste. En esos casos el hablante redistribuye la progresión Tema/Rema de la cláusula relativa, recreando la distribución de la información propia de la oración. Sobre un cuerpo de datos auténticos se hace un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo. | es-ES |
