| dc.description | It analyzes the characteristic features of the linguistic identity of the Ecuadorian emigrants represented in the stories published in the last three decades. Based on the conception of linguistic identity as a process in permanent construction, reconstruction, change transformation and the use of the methodology of documentary bibliographic research, it is concluded that there is a complex but fruitful representation of linguistic identity in the short fiction works studied. The results of the investigation are presented in four sections: communication difficulties, due to ignorance of the language of the national states of destination; strategies used by Ecuadorian emigrants, while learning the new language to be able to intercommunicate; differences in the speech of Spanish, between Ecuadorians and natives of Spain; and assimilation of Spanish speech as an integration strategy for Ecuadorian emigrants. | en-US |
| dc.description | Analiza los rasgos característicos de la identidad lingüística de los emigrantes ecuatorianos representados en los cuentos publicados en las tres últimas décadas. Con fundamento en la concepción de la identidad lingüística como un proceso en permanente construcción, reconstrucción, cambio transformación y la utilización de la metodología propia de la investigación bibliográfica documental se concluye que existe una compleja pero fecunda representación de la identidad lingüística en las obras de narrativa breve estudiadas. Los resultados de la investigación se presentan distribuidos en cuatro apartados: dificultades de comunicación, por desconocimiento del idioma de los Estados nacionales de destino; estrategias utilizadas por los emigrantes ecuatorianos, mientras aprenden el nuevo idioma para poder intercomunicarse; diferencias en el habla del español, entre ecuatorianos y nativos de España; y asimilación del habla española como una estrategia de integración de los emigrantes ecuatorianos. | es-ES |
