| dc.description | El abuso sexual infantil es una de las prácticas más aberrantes de maltrato contra los niños. Se presenta una reflexión en torno a la forma en que el sistema jurídico y psicosocial, que se dedican a la atención de víctimas de abuso sexual infantil, se relacionan con las víctimas. Se argumenta a favor de la idea de que el sistema proteccional (sistema judicial y psicosocial) opera desde un marco de creencias diferente al de las víctimas y sus familias. Se considera que lo anterior no estaría contribuyendo a la reparación del daño causado por el abuso e incluso estaría generando una revictimización. Se argumenta en esa línea en base a los antecedentes teóricos y empíricos, pero también se alude a la experiencia práctica en la atención a víctimas de abuso sexual infantil.
Abstract: Sexual child abuse is one of the most egregious practices of abuse against children. We present a reflection on how the legal system and psychosocial system, dedicated to the treatment of victims of sexual child abuse, are working with victims. We argue that the protection system (legal and psychosocial) and victims (and their families) operate from different beliefs. We consider this situation to be a problem because it does not contribute to the repair of damage caused by abuse and generates a new victimization. We argue this based on theoretical and empirical findings, but also allude to the practical experience of dealing with victims of sexual child abuse. | es-ES |
