| dc.description | The aim of this article is to discuss the formation and the consolidation of the main Cathedral of Cuenca (Ecuador) in the midst of the XIX century. This paper covers the procedures used in the Bishopric’s documents; these include the Cathedral’s musical activities, as well as the functions of the chapel and how the information about the music was given to the choirmasters. This work also presents a comprehensive approach to the reconstruction of musical signals in the Cathedral, and proposes a methodology that complements the existing models related to this topic. | en-US |
