| dc.description | Multivariate adjustment exercise is presented using the worksheet linear estimation function of the spreadsheet. This time we used 3179 mass defect data, which were the points used to calculate the coefficients (slopes) of the equation, of the Weizsäcker formula. In general, the correlation is very close to 1. Values close to those reported are obtained, and the prediction of the maximum binding energy differs from the experimental data. This is an exercise, where we apply multivariate linear regression, in a Physics teaching environment. | en-US |
| dc.description | Se presenta un ejemplo de ajuste multivariables utilizando la función de estimación lineal de hoja de la planilla de cálculo. En esta oportunidad utilizamos 3179 datos de defecto de masa, que fueron los pun-tos usados para calcular los coeficientes (pendientes) de la ecuación, de la fórmula de Weizsäcker. En general, la correlación es muy cercana a 1. Se obtiene valores cercanos a los informados, y la predicción del máximo de la energía de ligazón difiere de los datos experimentales. Este es un ejemplo donde aplicamos regresión lineal multivariada, en un ambiente de docencia en Física. | es-ES |
